HOUTHI ATTACKED ABHA AIRPORT!

Reported by the Arab coalition, it was confirmed that the Yemen rebel group "Houthi" missile attacked the Abha Airport in the western part of Saudi Arabia. The said attack left 26 civilians wounded.

The 8 civilians who have been wounded has been admitted to hospital, while the other 18 civilians were then discharged after receiving a first aid.

Arab coalition spokesman Turki Al-Malki said in a statement carried by Saudi Press Agency.

FILIPINO TOURIST DIES IN AN ACCIDENT THRU PARAGLIDING IN GUDAURI, GEORGIA.

VACATION TRAGEDY! 

GUDAURI, BryanVale Ptrprn name on facebook, a filipino nurse working in Saudi Arabia. A single traveler from Saudi to Georgia, aiming to have a wonderful time for his eid vacation ended into a tragic accident based from the Georgian interior ministry that caused his death. The report states, that Bryan together with his local guide flew on a paraglider, but then lost control over the Gudsky Gorge and fell into the Aragvi river. The Local guide with him fortunately survive the accident.Negligence is considered by the Interior ministry to file charges to the responsible. 

Bryan, a good friend to many planned this vacation a year ago and from his friends statement it was in his bucket list this year. 

We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Bryan.

THINGS NOT TO DO, TO AVOID 5,000 SAR PENALTY!!

Aims to preserve its kingdom conservative culture, "PUBLIC DECENCY" law will take effect sooner in the whole kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

In this article we will shed light to educate us all so we will never be a victim of law ignorance which will possibly charge us of 1,330 USD or 5,000 SAR. So its better to know this new rule than to throw this huge amount of money to nowhere. 

In the first article of this law "PUBLIC DECENCY" defines as, 

A set of behaviors and morals that reflect the country's social norms, values and identity"

Travel Time: 

We are 3 hours earlier from our flight Jed-Dxb-Tbs, yes! we have connecting flight in Dubai and we will stay there for 6 hours (cheap air tickets has to wait longer) 

While on check-in prepare your passport, of course the booking reference, Iqama and the travel insurance. its easy to check-in if your baggage allowed allowance do not exceed and documents presented accordingly. 

Cheapest airfare of fly dubai do not includes free on board meals so make sure you ate enough not to be hungry during flight or else you will spend some bucks. JED-DBX is approximately 3 hours and DBX-TBS will be 3 hours also approximately. 

Arriving at Dubai International airport, the BUS will send you to terminal entrance, there you will turn left before the immigration officers (look up the sign "TRANSIT PASSENGERS") prepare your boarding pass DXB-TBS, present this to the authorized personnel in the gate  put your stuff to the scanner and enter the Check-in area for passengers. 

FOODS at Dubai Airport-

There is KFC, MC DONALDS, PAUL, KRISPY KREME, CAFE. there's also smoking lounge in front of the toilets.  bottled water cost 2 dirhams , but  if you wanna save there's free water faucet right in the toilet entrance if you have empty bottles you can have it as take away 😉 

Food price: it is quite expensive, I don't know why everything in this food court has high price compare to the airport in Saudi Arabia. (maybe because of the tax?)

TBILISI IMMIGRATION

Tbilisi international airport is a tiny Int airport compare to others, but organized, clean and very easy access from immigration to your baggage claim area.
After leaving the aircraft directly fall in line to the immigration officer that cater the non residence/ Visa holder.
- present your passport, original Iqama and its English translation  or Visa if you hold an E-visa which you applied online. via  www.evisa.gov.ge
- Not necessary but also be ready to prepare the hotel reservations, itinerary of travel, travel insurance, exit re-entry visa from Saudi arabia.
The immigration officers will ask you some questions most specially when its your first time to visit Georgia. It's very fast and easy. then! you are freely welcomed to the territory of the most beautiful and hospitable people in the west. 

Go down stairs and claim your baggage. the exit gate is just in front of the stairs after the immigration offcicers
There are money changer just after the exit gate. The cafe and toilets are in the right side. 

SAUDI ARABIA'S DECENCY LAW

5,000 SAR Fine for VIOLATORS

This week a news about the NEW law on public decency spread and circulated online via local news paper in Saudi Arabia. Confusions and questions raised as everyone is interested about this new "public role in public" but nobody has the complete and detailed information regarding to this new rule.

Based on the local news paper (Saudi Gazzette) this new rule will come into force the 25 of May 2019.

Many of the expat communities are worried and interested to this and exchange opinions and reactions.

NOT YET IMPLEMENTED!!!

According to the local news paper Saudi Arab news "The public decency laws are yet to be enforced, a Ministry of Interior official said on Monday morning, according to SPA’s Twitter account."  the regulations about this was approved last month by the Saudi cabinet members which aims to uphold the values principles and identity of Saudi Arabia.

Public now are confused and left unanswered like, was it really prohibited to walk on shorts in the street?

A: YES.

Q: was this new rule is implemented already?

A: NO. 

Q: when this started"

A: based on the previous news, 25 May 2019 supposed to be is the implementation.

Q: are shorts for males are prohibited in public"

A: nobody knows until the regulations come outs. however its better to walk on a decent clothes when go on public. 

Q: are this new rule for against expat"

A: NO. its against indecent people who abused expressing their selves in public.

From my own experience, it is very easy to arrange everything related to travel in Georgia coming from Saudi Arabia. 

FIRST, I look for an authorized translation company in the kingdom and let them translate my Iqama accordingly. Note: Make sure to ask the translator to mention the Gregorian date of expiration for sometimes the immigration officers in Georgia are not familiar with Hijri calendar year. 

SECOND, After securing my Iqama translation I bought my travel insurance online. there's a lot of travel insurance offers online services but for me Tawuniya travel insurance is the cheapest and fastest one. 

THIRD, when you got  the translation and travel insurance you can now reserve your hotel and air tickets to finalize all your needed requirements to travel without hassle.
