SAUDI ARABIA'S DECENCY LAW

5,000 SAR Fine for VIOLATORS
This week a news about the NEW law on public decency spread and circulated online via local news paper in Saudi Arabia. Confusions and questions raised as everyone is interested about this new "public role in public" but nobody has the complete and detailed information regarding to this new rule.

Based on the local news paper (Saudi Gazzette) this new rule will come into force the 25 of May 2019.

Many of the expat communities are worried and interested to this and exchange opinions and reactions.

NOT YET IMPLEMENTED!!!

According to the local news paper Saudi Arab news "The public decency laws are yet to be enforced, a Ministry of Interior official said on Monday morning, according to SPA’s Twitter account."  the regulations about this was approved last month by the Saudi cabinet members which aims to uphold the values principles and identity of Saudi Arabia.

CONFUSIONS 

Public now are confused and left unanswered like, was it really prohibited to walk on shorts in the street?

A: YES.

Q: was this new rule is implemented already?
A: NO. 

Q: when this started"
A: based on the previous news, 25 May 2019 supposed to be is the implementation.

Q: are shorts for males are prohibited in public"
A: nobody knows until the regulations come outs. however its better to walk on a decent clothes when go on public. 

Q: are this new rule for against expat"
A: NO. its against indecent people who abused expressing their selves in public.
